FIRST ROOTS
"For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 3.11
The children's Sunday school of Gilead Baptist Church is called "First Roots". In First Roots, we seek to expose our children and pre-teens to the timeless truths about the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to ensure that every child who goes through our K – 8th grade curriculum will have strong roots in the Scriptures and a beneficial understanding of what God has revealed about Himself.
First Roots takes place on Sunday morning from 9:45 to 11:00 immediately preceding morning worship.
Sunday Night Live!
"Sunday Night Live" is worship and Bible study for our children. It involves worship, drama, bible study and a craft project that the kids work on throughout the year. It takes place on Sunday night at 6pm.
